Schedule:

Day 01: Introduction by Amol Palekar opening remarks- a scathing commentary on (his percieved) insularity of Marathi नाटक वेड (craze for theatre). A small historical journey of theatres in other indian languages and Alekzai's contribution to contemporary Indian English theatre. Well spoken! Followed by Sundeep  Rao's standup-comedy "Comedy in the Dark". Final draft was the last play of the day. This author did not manage to stay hungry till the end. Tea and वडे  (batata wada) could have kept us going, but alas not to be had. Full marks to the organizers for a very organized first day!
